Bright Promises Preschool and Day Care, a mission of the Franklinville United Methodist Church, has proudly served the childcare needs of the community for 35 years.  At the culmination of the academic school year on Wednesday, June 19th, we will be closing our doors.

With the offering of full day kindergarten and pre-school in the public schools, we have experienced a steady decline in enrollment. The decision to close was arrived at after much discussion and prayer.

It has been an honor and privilege to work with all of our families throughout the years. Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your children.

WHO WE ARE

We are an early childhood program where children are encouraged to explore their world, to ask questions, and to find answers through experiences. We have been a valued part of our community for 30 years. We provide care for children ages 2 1/2 to 12 years old and serve as a daycare, a preschool, and a before and after care provider. We treat our children with love and respect and we expose them to the love of God while building positive self-esteem, confidence, and empathy. Prayer is woven throughout the day and we strive to bring out the best in all of our children.

Our preschool hours are 9:00am to 12 noon and full day care is 6:30am to 6:00 pm.  For our before and after school children, the bus picks them up at our location and returns them here at the end of the day.  Bright Promises follows the Franklinville School District for emergency school closings and delays.  Check our calendar for Bright Promises regular school closings.
