Bright Promises Team Meets

The Bright Promises preschool Team will have a very special planning meeting o Monday, March 10 at 6:30. The meeting will be in the Conference Room.

SR Youth Italian Dinner

A reminder that Saturday, march 8 beginning at 4:30pm, the SR Youth (aka, Ablaze) will have an Italian dinner fund raiser.

Turn Clocks Ahead

March 9 2:00am

Just a friendly reminder to turn your clocks ahead one-hour for the start of Daylight Savings Time.

ALSO, it's a good idea to change the batteries in your smoke detectors as well.

SATURDAY March 8 = 10:00 - 11:30 to early afternoon

(From the TRUSTEES Team) = A paint party in the Church basement, to finish this major project. All materials will be supplied for this event; ceilings and walls to be painted in the big room and heater area. Start time late morning: 10:00-11:30 to finish early in the afternoon.

JR Youth TAC Dinner

February 23 4:30pm

Good Evening Friends

Just a friendly reminder that the JR Youth will be sponsoring their 4th annual Taco Dinner on Saturday (tomorrow), February 23rd. This seasonal dinner will begin at 4:30 until 6:30pm. The feasting will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Come out and enjoy great food, great fellowship, and support our JR Youth in their efforts to make disciples for Jesus Christ.

Bring a friend or two. Looking forward to seeing you at the dinner.

ONE SERVICE/Luncheon

January 20 10:00am

Celebration Sunday, January 20. There will be ONE SERVICE beginning at 10:00am. A FREE celebration luncheon will follow the service. This will be a catered luncheon so please make your reservations with our Lay Leader Fran Daisey, or Assistant Lay Leader, Julie Smith.

Sunday School Teachers Meeting

January 15 7:30pm

The Sunday School Teachers will have a meeting with the Pastor on Tuesday, January 15, beginning at 7:30pm.

Planning Meeting

January 12 9:00am

Administrative Council Planning meeting on Saturday, January 12, beginning at 9:00am. We will meet in the Conference Room. Please come with dates and/or events which will need Ad/Council approval and be placed on the church calendar.

PPRC Team Meeting

January 7 7:00pm

There will be a very important meeting of the PPRC Team on Monday, January 7, beginning at 7:00pm. The meeting will take place in the Conference Room.

Greetings Friends

I pray that you are all feeling well and experiencing the joy which comes with the New Year. Below for your convenience are some important friendly reminders.

1) Last week for the mitten tree. Please bring mitten's, gloves, hats, scarves, and winter items to the church as the tree will be removed and the items delivered early next week.

2) Last week for the Christmas card table. The table will be removed and the boxes stored early next week. Please pick up your Christmas greetings.

3) Offering envelopes for 2008. Please pick them up as they are next to the Christmas cards in the back of the sanctuary.

4) Jacqui Adams will be leading the music at both services on Sunday, January 6. Jacqui is retiring and this will be her final Sunday with us. She will be offering some very special music at these services. Please come and express your appreciation for her ministry in our midst these last six years

5) Holy Communion will be celebrated at both services (8:30am and 11:00am) on Sunday, January 6. The Sacrament of Baptism will be administered during the 11:00am service.

6) Pastor's Bible Study at 9:45am Sunday, January 6. Our final study on Praying as Jesus' Taught.

7) Pastor-Parish Relations Team meets Monday, January 7 at 7:00pm in the newly renovated Conference Room downstairs.

8) Administrative Council Planning meeting on Saturday, January 12, beginning at 9:00am. We will meet in the Conference Room. Please come with dates and/or events which will need Ad/Council approval and be placed on the church calendar.

9) At the 11:00am service the two youth groups, JR Youth and SR Youth (Ablaze) will be featured in leading this service.

10) Confirmation Class begins January 13 @ 9:45. We will meet in the Conference Room.

11) New Adult Membership Class begins January 13 @ 6:00pm. We will meet in the Conference Room
